Product Description

Heat lamp with UVA-UVB

This mercury vapor lamp simulates the sunlight that reptiles need. It combines visible light and infrared heat with natural UVA and UVB radiation. UVA ensures that reptiles can see properly and stimulates their appetite and immune system. The balanced and safe UVB radiation enables the synthesis of vitamin D3 and prevents bone diseases. Infrared helps reptiles warm their bodies while basking in the sun. The lamp has a built-in overheating protection: it switches off when it becomes too hot and restarts after cooling down. The lamp can only be used vertically in a well-ventilated E27 ceramic holder. Also available in the Terra Della range. There are 4 different strengths available. The size of your terrarium and the type of reptile determine the required wattage.
